6 Things you never knew about Sex appeal

1. It is widely used and explicitly
Sexual explicitness represents part of the advertising landscape in the recent years and is prevalent in Brazil, in the United States and certain European countries. As seen from my previous video post; SEX appeal.
Could the Asian countries be using this widely?

2. It can attract and hold attention for a longer period
Featuring attractive models in provocative poses, would not only attract the opposite sexes, and also the same sexes too. It is called relatability.

3. It enhances recall of message
If the sexual content is appropriate to the product category.

4. It evokes emotional responses such as arousal and lust.
These can somehow increase an advertisement's persuasiveness.

5. It can elicit positive or negative reactions
This depends on the relevance of the sexual content to the advertised message.

6. It may interfere with processing of message and comprehension
Would you be offended by advertisements that portray women and men as brainless sex objects?
